Is it a den or is it art?  Hovering between sculpture and architecture “Utopia” is deliberately ambiguous, with conflicting tensions between its many allusions.

The idea is that the viewer notices their process of perception as they try to decode form and function. Perhaps more a folly than a building it recalls the fun of den building most of us enjoyed as children, while referring to architecture in a formal aesthetic.
